Installation Warranty

MyNewSurface.com, INC. Installation Warranty

At MyNewSurface, we take pride in the quality of our craftsmanship and stand behind the installation of all our products. To provide you with confidence and peace of mind, we offer a 1-Year Installation Warranty covering the products and services we deliver.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY

  • MyNewSurface.com, Inc. (“Contractor”) warrants that all labor will conform substantially to the manufacturer’s recommendations and industry best practices.
  • In the event of an installation defect covered by this warranty, MyNewSurface will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the affected area.
  • If warranty work requires product replacement, the Customer agrees to accept a reasonable product match of equal or lesser value.
  • Note that all product warranties are provided by the manufacturer, and the Customer agrees to address product-related issues directly with the manufacturer.

This warranty covers installations for:

  • Flooring (carpet, hardwood, vinyl, tile, laminate, etc.)
  • Custom Cabinetry (kitchen, bathroom, and storage solutions)
  • Countertops (quartz, granite, marble, etc.)
  • Staircases and Railings
  • Wall Cladding and Stonework

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY

  • Installation defects not promptly reported upon completion.
  • Damage caused by subsequent alterations, misuse, or abuse, such as scratches, dents, or dulling finishes.
  • Damage resulting from natural disasters or environmental factors, including but not limited to:
    • Fires, floods, storms, or electrical malfunctions.
    • Sub-grade moisture, leaks, or standing water.
  • Damage due to improper maintenance, such as:
    • Use of non-recommended cleaning products or methods.
    • Wet mopping or cleaning with excessive water or chemicals.
  • Failures caused by non-compliant subfloor or substrate conditions, which are the responsibility of the Customer.
  • Damage from failure to adhere to MyNewSurface or manufacturer instructions regarding humidity, temperature control, and general maintenance.
  • Moisture-related issues, including but not limited to:
    • Cupping, crowning, buckling, cracking, or gapping.
  • Natural variations in materials, including but not limited to:
    • Color, gloss, fading, or UV discoloration.
    • Mineral streaks, knots, and grain differences in wood products.

REMEDIES AND LIMITATIONS

  • The Customer is not entitled to recover incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • MyNewSurface makes no other warranties, express or implied, beyond this limited warranty.
  • These limitations are enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

To report a potential warranty issue:

  1. Contact us at info@mynewsurface.com or call 704-391-9845.
  2. Provide a copy of your original contract, along with a detailed description of the issue.
  3. MyNewSurface will investigate the claim within ten (10) business days. If valid, warranty repairs will be scheduled and completed within ninety (90) days during normal business hours.
